Joel M. Hartman, M.D.
Dr. Hartman has been in North Carolina since 1982. He spent most of his time growing up in Garner, a small town outside of Raleigh. After graduating from North Carolina State University he moved to Winston-Salem to attend medical school at Wake Forest University, where he also completed his Internal Medicine and Allergy-Immunology training. While at Wake Forest, Dr. Hartman had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident and later as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine.
“As both an allergy sufferer and parent of children with allergies, I know how important it is to understand and feel comfortable with your doctor. My hope is to partner with my patients and their families, helping them understand and manage their allergic conditions.”
When not at work Dr. Hartman enjoys time with his wife, son and daughter.
“As a family we love basketball, anything outdoors and trips to North Carolina’s beaches.”
