Praveena Kothur, MD

Dr. Praveena Kothur is a board certified, experienced allergy and immunology specialist with over 25 years of experience in the field.  She has been in practice in Arizona for over 2 decades. She graduated from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India in 1988 and completed her internal medicine residency and allergy and immunology fellowship training in East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina.

After 7 years of practice in North Carolina, she moved to Arizona in 2003 with her family.  Dr. Kothur is skilled in treating conditions such as allergic rhinitis and asthma, offering patients allergen immunotherapy and biologic drugs, and keeps up to date with new treatments as the field of allergy immunology has been rapidly evolving.  She also treats patients with hives, chronic cough, food and medication allergies.  She is dedicated in treating patients of all age groups.  In her leisure Dr. Kothur enjoys oil painting and traveling.
