Karen Conner, PA-C
Karen Conner is a Certified Physician Assistant who moved to Albuquerque from the state of Maine in 2002. She completed her MPAS at the University of New Mexico and is board-certified with the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Karen has had a diversified career as a PA-C in Urgent Care, Workman’s Comp, and gastroenterology and is pleased to be bringing her skills and experience to Allergy Partners. Her love of medicine stems from an enjoyment of solving puzzles and putting the pieces of one’s health back together.
Interestingly, being a PA-C is Karen’s third career as she started out as a TV news reporter in Texas and then became an ophthalmic photographer and surgical assistant in Maine before returning to school to become a PA in New Mexico.
Karen’s spare time is spent with her husband of almost 40 years, their beloved dogs and with their grown children and grandchildren whenever she can see them. She also enjoys serving at church, medical missions, drawing, painting, reading, hiking and travel.
