Jonathan Romeo, D.O.

Dr. Romeo joins Allergy Partners of the Triangle after moving from Charlotte, where he previously worked at a private allergy practice.  He is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed his residency in Pediatrics at the University of South Florida, and his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Wake Forest University.

“I became fascinated with allergy and immunology early in my medical training.  The study of how the body responds and adapts to the world around it is truly an amazing thing. Sometimes, this causes problems when something that should be safe, like a food, drug, or pollen causes an unwanted reaction. My goal as your doctor is to help you understand why your body is reacting the way that it is, and help you to manage your symptoms.  I am humbled by the trust you and your family put in me, and will strive to provide you with the best care possible.”

When not working, Dr. Romeo loves to relax with his wife and two rescue puppies (Lexie and Callie).  He is passionate about travel, and hopes to see as much of the world as possible.  He enjoys fitness, especially running. You will likely find him participating in various races throughout the year.  He is also a huge sports fan.  His favorite teams include his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers and Browns, his alma mater Vanderbilt Commodores, and his childhood favorite The Ohio State Buckeyes! “Something tells me I will also be watching a lot more college basketball now that I live in the triangle!”
