Jacob Turnquist, M.D.

I joined Allergy Partners in 2023 after retiring from the US Army. It is an exciting time to be an allergist with the recent explosion of new treatment options for the conditions we manage. I have extensive experience caring for the full spectrum of allergic disorders, and I find enormous satisfaction partnering with my patients of all ages to develop a personalized plan that makes sense for them.

After medical school, I had the honor of serving as Army physician on active duty for 20 years. Following my residency, I served as an infantry brigade surgeon including a combat deployment to Iraq. I then specialized in allergy and immunology and was stationed at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg) in 2011. During that time I served as Chief of the Allergy Service, Chief of the Department of Medicine, and Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Program.

When I am not working, you will find me spending time with my family, reading, traveling, hiking, cooking, and watching college football and basketball.
