Erin W. Rasmussen, MD

Dr. Erin Rasmussen is a native Iowan, originally from Cedar Rapids. She obtained all of her medical training at the University of Iowa, including undergraduate, medical school, internal medicine residency and allergy-immunology fellowship. The field of allergy-immunology has always been an interest of Dr. Rasmussen’s. Multiple family members suffered from a variety of allergic conditions growing up, which prompted her to rotate through allergy-immunology in medical school. Since then, she has been committed to practicing and advancing the field of allergy-immunology. Dr. Rasmussen enjoys treating the spectrum of allergic conditions in both pediatric and adult patient populations with particular interests in food allergies, drug allergies, asthma, hives, eczema and seasonal allergies.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, family and friends. Her hobbies include Hawkeye football, cooking, baking, hiking and being outdoors. Dr. Rasmussen truly values her relationships with patients and is a strong advocate for them. Dr. Rasmussen is dedicated to her community and is thrilled to continue working with the wonderful people of Iowa.
