Erik Anderson, DO
Dr. Erik Anderson is an allergist who completed his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City and is board certified in Internal Medicine. His training in one of the busiest academic centers in the country prepared him to evaluate patients efficiently and effectively. He brings that experience to his patients in Wyoming and Colorado, focusing on identifying the key issues driving their symptoms.
Dr. Anderson completed his Internal Medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City and holds a PhD from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where his research focused on allergic disease and airway inflammation. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
He cares for both children and adults with indoor and outdoor allergies, asthma, eczema food allergies, drug allergies, and hives. He offers a variety of diagnostic and treatment services such as skin testing, and allergy shots and is enthusiastic about new evidence-based therapies for allergy and asthma care.
A strong believer in building long-term relationships with patients, Dr. Anderson emphasizes clear communication and collaborative decision-making. He is committed to providing solution-oriented care that empowers them to manage their conditions effectively.
Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Anderson is excited to make the Rocky Mountain region home. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, cooking, biking, and exploring the outdoors.
