Ellen Lu, MD

Dr. Lu is board-certified in Adult and Pediatric Allergy & Immunology. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at Yale University. She then graduated from medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she also completed an Internal Medicine residency before completing an Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Prior to joining Allergy Partners, Dr. Lu had been in practice as an Allergist in Little Rock, Arkansas, and then in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Lu is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI). She is former President of the Cazort Allergy Society of Arkansas.

Her clinical interests include allergic rhinitis and asthma. She has extensive experience treating the spectrum of allergic conditions, including food and venom allergy, urticaria, and eczema. Dr. Lu most enjoys talking to and caring for her patients and helping them better understand their conditions and treatment plans to improve their health and well-being.

Outside of work, Dr. Lu is a longstanding Steelers fan and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
