Balraj S. Bajaj, M.D.

Dr. Balraj Singh Bajaj has been living in the Richmond area since the age of 6. He completed all of his primary schooling in the Richmond area, as well as undergraduate studies at VCU, medical school at VCU School of Medicine, combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency training at VCU Health, and finally training in Allergy-Immunology at VCU Health. He considers Richmond his home and is glad to be able to work with the community that helped raise him.

During his fellowship training, he was able to work with experts specializing in immunodeficiency syndromes, eosinophilic disorders, angioedema, as well as honing his skills in allergic conditions such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, and eczema. His particular interests include urticaria/angioedema, eczema, asthma, recurring infections, and evaluating the immune system. Given his background training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Dr. Bajaj feels comfortable seeing patients of all ages.

In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, playing basketball, and learning the sarangi (a classical Indian string instrument).
