Dr. Tiñana decided to go into the field of allergy and immunology as she enjoys working with patients of all ages.
“I believe in patient-centered allergy and asthma care, with an emphasis on knowledge, prevention, and effective management, all of which play an important role in helping those suffering from allergies and asthma to live with the greatest degree of comfort possible.”
After spending several years in Maryland and Virginia, Dr. Tiñana moved to Texas to complete her allergy and immunology fellowship and live closer to her extended family. She decided to open her practice in Corpus Christi as her parents have been residents of the area for almost 20 years.
“I am excited to serve the allergy needs of this wonderful community.”
In her spare time, Dr. Tiñana enjoys spending time with her husband, Peter, and two boys, Kai and Kameron.
I am very excited to join Allergy Partners of Corpus Christi as a physician assistant. I look forward to treating patients who suffer from allergy and asthma since I can directly improve their quality of life through appropriate treatment. I enjoy working with children and adults and love spending time educating patients about their condition and how to manage it. I have 7 years of clinical experience in both Family Medicine and Pediatrics.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station. Afterwards, I moved to Houston where I received a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine. My husband, an Aggie and native Corpus Christian, and I moved to Corpus Christi in 2011 and have enjoyed building our careers in this community. During my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling and playing with our 1 year old daughter, Emma
