Kelley Hawkins, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC joined Allergy Partners in January 2023. She completed her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Kentucky in 1997. After 12 years of working as a registered nurse, obtained her master’s degree in 2009 from the University of Kentucky for family nurse practitioner. Learning has been a lifelong passion for Kelley and she returned to school at Indiana Wesleyan University and obtained a post master’s certification for psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2020. Kelley has worked as an FNP in retail health clinics, a rural health clinic and mental health (the last 2 ½ years), but the bulk of her experience lies in allergy, asthma and immunology where she has 10 years of experience.
Her interests include food allergies, environmental allergy management and asthma. She has been a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and looks forward to returning to this field to pick up where she left off. In her spare time, Kelley likes spending time with her husband, two sons and all of her pets (dogs, cats, ferrets, and chickens).
Dr. Overbeck joined Allergy Partners in 2014. She is board certified in pediatrics and allergy/ immunology. She completed her bachelor of science with high distinction at University of Kentucky in 1991. She attended the Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health where she obtained her medical degree in 1999 and doctorate of philosophy in neuroscience in 1997. She completed her pediatric residency in 2002 followed by her allergy/immunology fellowship in 2004 at the LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, University of Tennessee.
Her interests include pediatric asthma and rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, food allergies, and immunodeficiencies. She is a fellow of both the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology.
She is married, has a daughter, and enjoys riding horses as well as traveling with her family.
