I was born and raised in New Orleans and have lived in Indiana since 1998. I spent six years working as a pediatrician in suburban Chicago, and during this time I developed an interest in allergy and immunology and decided to pursue training in the field.
After spending two years working in South Bend, I moved to Indianapolis in 2000 and joined a multi-physician allergy group. In 2006, I opened my own practice on the south side of Indianapolis. In 2015 we relocated to our current location in Greenwood.
I enjoy the specialty of Allergy and Immunology not only because of the intellectual challenges but also because of the opportunity to help people who have allergic and immunologic disorders. It is a blessing to take care of people of all ages and help them to live full, active lives, and we are grateful that so many of our patients refer their family members and friends to our practice.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, especially my Louisiana favorites such as gumbo, red beans and rice, jambalaya, and beignets. I exercise regularly so I can continue enjoying my comfort foods. I also enjoy spending time with family and outdoors, watching all of the wildlife in our backyard.

Rory Duplantier, ANP-BC, is a board certified nurse practitioner. She was born at the old St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove and attended Franklin Township schools. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana University. She worked as a Registered Nurse in clinical research at what was then the Indiana University Medical Center while she completed her graduate degree. Soon after becoming board certified in 1999, she began working in allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology where she found her calling to what she calls the “family practice of specialty practice”.
“I love practicing on the south side of Indy where I was born and raised. This is my community and I am invested in improving the quality of life for the individuals and families here. This field has changed immensely in the past twenty years and the evolving knowledge about allergic disease and treatment keeps it exciting. I enjoy the collaborative practice between my role as a nurse practitioner and the expert physicians with whom I work. It allows for a team approach to provide the care all of our patients deserve”.
When Rory is not working, she is spending time with her husband and family, including her oldest (Boilermaker!) son, twin middle-school boys, three adult step-children, one dog, two cats, and two guinea pigs.
