Dr. Teresa Williams is a native of central Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University and her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After medical school, she completed her residency in pediatrics at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, California in 2001. As a pediatrician she discovered her love of allergy after interacting with many patients and families with allergic conditions.
These experiences lead her to complete her allergy/immunology fellowship at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in 2010. She has served as both a staff allergist and regional allergy consultant to the Air Force. She retired after 20 years of service from the Air Force in 2018. She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets doing multiple outdoor activities.
Laura Thompson hails from southeast Alabama. She attended Judson College for her undergraduate education and graduated with honors with a degree in biology. Her life pursuit has been to have a career in the medical field, and while in college, volunteered for medical trips to Costa Rica and Peru to gain more experience in medical care abroad. She then worked for two years in a critical care unit and cardiovascular floor of a local hospital system before furthering her medical training by enrolling into the Physician Assistant Program at the University of South Alabama.
She completed clinical rotations in primary care, pediatrics, dermatology, and women’s health before finding her passion during an asthma and allergy clinical rotation in Pensacola, Florida. She graduated with a Master of Health Sciences degree and received physician assistant credentialing from the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants in 2021.
