Dr. Michael Martucci completed his Fellowship in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at National Jewish Health in Denver, Colorado. He is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He is a Colorado native and obtained his medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency also at the University of Colorado. Dr. Martucci is actively involved in research related to improving asthma outcomes in patients. He has published several journal articles and given talks at the national level. He received the post-doctoral research award from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology for clinical research and patient care.
Dr. Martucci is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He was recently appointed to the State Advisory Council for the Colorado Department of Education.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, biking and exploring Colorado. Also, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, one of whom has severe allergies. Prior to medical school he worked as an Electrical Engineer where he met his wife, who continues to work as an engineer. Dr. Martucci strongly values communication and will be an advocate for his patients.
Dr. Erin Willits obtained her medical degree at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. She then completed her residency in Pediatrics and her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Allergy and Immunology. She is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
After fellowship, she moved to Salt Lake City, UT where she practiced for over 2 years. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages with a wide variety of allergic conditions. With a background in pediatrics, she has a special interest in food allergy. Allergies can be life long, and she appreciates the continuity of care being an allergist offers. She values her relationships with patients and is excited about new therapies coming out for treatment of food allergies and asthma.
Dr. Willits is a Wyoming native who completed her undergraduate degree at Colorado State University, in Fort Collins, CO. She is excited to be moving back to the northern Colorado area with her husband and 2 dogs. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and of course, skiing in the beautiful Colorado Rockies.
Nicole Trainor, MS PA-C, attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, graduating in 2018 with a Master degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Nicole currently holds memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants. As the parent of a child with food allergies, she feels honored to serve those in the allergy, asthma, and immunodeficiency community.
A Colorado native, Nicole was raised in La Junta and moved to Fort Collins following high school to attend Colorado State University. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology there in 2004, Nicole enjoyed employment for several years at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Fort Collins. During that time she performed research on flaviviruses, including West Nile Virus, and co-authored three journal articles. Nicole also spent time as a stay-at-home mom with her two children prior to attending the PA program.
Nicole’s favorite way to spend time is with her husband and their children, preferably in the mountains with their 1970 American camping trailer and plenty of coffee and books. On a more ordinary day, she enjoys time spent at home, taking in a beautiful sunset on the deck with her husband; and watching her children participate in gymnastics, jiu-jitsu, and playing piano.
5Alison Watkins, MMS, PA-C obtained her Masters of Medical Science degree and completed the Physician’s Assistant program at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL in 2002. She completed her Master’s Practicum at National Jewish Health where she developed a passion for Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. After graduation, she went on to practice medicine both at National Jewish and a busy combined practice in Denver, CO treating patients in General Pediatrics and Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She also worked on many Clinical Research trials as a sub-investigator. For the past 15 years she has been servicing patients in Cheyenne at the Asthma and Allergy Clinic of Wyoming. She is looking forward to joining with Allergy Partners and continuing to treat her patients in Wyoming. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants, and is licensed both in Wyoming and Colorado.
Born and raised in Fort Collins, CO., Alison attended Colorado State University. There she received her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Anatomy and Neurobiology in 1999. After attending graduate school in Chicago, she moved back to Colorado and continues to reside in Fort Collins. She is a busy mother of two teenagers, and when she is not attending gymnastics and swim meets, she enjoys traveling, reading, outdoor activities with her family and snowboarding. After living with asthma and allergies her whole life, Alison is passionate about providing optimal care for these patients. Despite her extensive experience in pediatrics, she enjoys treating patients of all ages.
