Dr. Lagos was originally born in Chile, South America but moved to the United States at 2 months of age and lived briefly in Texas, Georgia and eventually Florida. At the University of South Florida, he completed training in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine with additional training at the University of Mississippi in Allergy and Immunology. There he continued to learn how to treat the family with regards to allergic conditions and has never looked back.
“My practice is centered on treating the entire family including the young, middle aged and elderly. My enjoyment of the southern culture and its focus on family brought me to Spartanburg in 2007 which I have enjoyed greatly.”
His practice focuses on a strong patient relationship, communication, and the most up to date care.
“Together we will help you live a healthier life.”
During his free time, Dr. Lagos enjoys numerous outdoor activities including fishing, skiing, and tennis but ultimately it too is always centered on his family. “Hope to see you soon!”
Dr. Wagner has been in practice with AP since 1992. He chose to be an allergist because he enjoys spending time with patients and identifying problems that will improve the quality of their life.
He was the first board certified allergist in Spartanburg. He was also a president in the past at Southeastern Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society as well as the Spartanburg County Medical Society.
He serves on the board of Poplar Springs Fire Department. He is also an Elder at Center Point Presbyterian Church.
“I am dedicated to providing the highest quality care possible to patients with allergy and asthma problems. I strive to provide medical care in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.”
Toni Bowyer has worked with Allergy Partners of the Foothills as a certified physician assistant since 2005. She grew up in the Spartanburg area and decided to pursue a career as a PA because of her interest in medicine and a desire to be a positive influence in the lives of patients.
She attended the Physician Assistant program at MUSC in Charleston, SC, but always intended to return to the Spartanburg area to practice. When Bowyer learned of a possible opportunity with AP of the Foothills, she eagerly pursued the opportunity to learn more about the field of allergy.
Bowyer participated in a clinical rotation with Dr. Wagner during her final semester of training and learned first-hand the details of allergy and asthma care. She eagerly accepted a position here because she was excited about the opportunities in this specialty to interact with patients and significantly improve their quality of life.
“The wonderful physicians and staff also make this a great office in which to work. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two dogs, hiking, reading, traveling, and attending concerts.”
