| | "I was told by Allergy Partners of Crestview today that they will no longer write a note for my son's allergy shots. I have been going there for over a year. The two years prior he was seen at Allergy Partners of Fayetteville, I was never denied a note for the school. The nurse in Crestview told me today that they did NOT want a bunch of kids there in the mornings. When I contacted Allergy Partners of Fayetteville, they were stunned at the nurse's comment and the fact of not writing a school note. They also said I did not owe anyone an explanation as to why I needed to bring my child in the mornings. I have spoken to my son's school and they have no problem with my son missing the first 45 minutes of school every few weeks for his shots. My son does not get home from school until 3:50 and shots end at 4:30. If I did not have a two year old and a 10 month old that takes afternoon naps, I could possibly race down there in time. Tell me is it Allergy Partners of Crestview's decision on what time works best for my family? If their posted shot times are 9 to 11:30 and 2 to 4:30, isn't the choice mine? " |
