Drs. Renold, Hirani and Drapkin, with Asthma and Allergy Associates, has joined Allergy Partners, P.A. and will now be known as Allergy Partners of Chicago. These board certified physicians and their seven convenient locations, will continue to serve children and adults of all ages, in the communities of Des Plaines, Skokie, Elgin, Chicago, Arlington Heights, Evanston, and Elk Grove.

Dr. Frederic Renold was raised in Geneva, Switzerland, where he completed his Medical Degree in 1981. He concluded his training in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology at the University of California in San Francisco, then moved to Chicago, his wife's hometown, in 1987. Dr Renold has been in private practice in the north and western suburbs of Chicago since 1989 caring for patients of all ages. He is on the Faculty at Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and Director of the Section of Allergy and Immunology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy Asthma and Immunology and is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Renold is fluent in French and German.
Dr. W. Mona Hirani joined Dr. Renold in practice in 2003 after moving from Maryland, where she was in private practice for 2 ½ years. She completed her fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Dr. Hirani is board certified in allergy and immunology and pediatric pulmonology and is fluent in Hindi.
Dr. Sol Drapkin, a native of Boston, MA, received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in New York. He then attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where he earned his M.D. Dr. Drapkin then moved to Chicago, his wife’s home town, where he completed a three year residency in internal medicine and an additional two year fellowship in allergy and immunology at Rush University. Dr. Drapkin is board certified in internal medicine, as well as allergy and immunology, and he has been seeing patients of all ages at Asthma and Allergy Associates (now Allergy Partners of Chicago) since 2004. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
